Amnex has always been keeping pace with current industry best practices. By adopting Agile Methodologies across the organization Amnex has taken a step towards making the organization’s day-to-day functioning more efficient.
Agile methodology is a way of recursive project management and software development that allows an organization to work more efficiently by allowing teams to work in cross-functional teams in a collaborative manner. Here, instead of working by the traditional waterfall approach; Requirements, Plans, and Results are evaluated continuously allowing teams to have a more efficient and faster mechanism for responding to change quickly. Scrum, a subset of Agile, is a lightweight process framework and the most widely-used one. Scrum is based upon empiricism and lean thinking.
Adoption of agile methodology will allow the entire project management and software development process to be more transparent. The teams would share progress, discuss problems, and brainstorm solutions in regular meetings allowing projects to be completed in shorter ‘sprints’. This gives teams as well as customers more flexibility with faster responses to customer feedback and constant improvements and tweaks in the product as per customer expectations resulting in higher customer satisfaction and better quality.
To make the initiative a success and to further enhance our skills, Amnex has conducted workshops for employees on Agile methodology and Scrum framework.
