Leaflet

Interactive web maps connected to your business applications

We provide Leaflet consulting, map development, application integration, performance improvement, and maintenance services. We help organizations add interactive maps to websites and applications for location discovery, asset visibility, field operations, and other geospatial workflows.

A practical foundation for your team

Our services cover the browser mapping experience and its integration with your data and application interfaces. We work with your product and engineering teams to define map behavior, select suitable layers, and build interactions that remain usable as data and requirements change.

A web map combines application code, geospatial information, and services such as map tiles or location APIs. Each part has its own performance, availability, and usage requirements.

We help your team manage those dependencies while keeping the user experience clear and the implementation maintainable. Map data and tile services are selected separately to meet the project's licensing and usage terms.

What we do

Our Leaflet Services

01 / 10

Mapping Requirements and Architecture

Turn location-based requirements into a practical map implementation. We review the intended users, spatial information, application interfaces, and service dependencies before defining the map components and integration approach that the application needs.

  • Mapping use-case workshops
  • Layer and data source assessment
  • Application architecture review
  • Mapping implementation roadmap

02 / 10

Interactive Map Development

Build map experiences using Leaflet's mapping and interaction capabilities. We configure navigation, controls, markers, and information displays around the user's tasks, then test the behavior across the agreed browsers, screen sizes, and devices.

  • Map initialization and controls
  • Markers, popups, and tooltips
  • Layer selection and navigation
  • Responsive interaction testing

03 / 10

Geospatial Data and Layer Integration

Present application data through suitable map layers. We prepare and validate GeoJSON or other selected inputs, review coordinate assumptions, and connect application endpoints so that locations and geographic features are represented consistently.

  • GeoJSON data integration
  • Coordinate and geometry checks
  • Tile and WMS layer integration
  • API-driven feature updates

04 / 10

Application Workflows and User Interaction

Connect map activity to the wider application. We implement feature selection, filters, detail panels, and event handling so that users can move between the map and business information without losing the context of their task.

  • Feature selection workflows
  • Search and filter integration
  • Map and application event handling
  • Detail panel synchronization

05 / 10

Large Dataset and Rendering Performance

Improve map responsiveness as feature counts and interaction demands increase. We review data transfer, rendering choices, layer management, and compatible plugins, then test practical approaches to reducing browser work and unnecessary network requests.

  • Feature volume and rendering analysis
  • Layer loading and filtering
  • Compatible clustering plugin assessment
  • Browser performance validation

06 / 10

Plugin and External Service Integration

Extend the map through carefully selected plugins and services. We review compatibility, maintenance status, and licensing before integrating functions such as drawing or location search, and test how the added dependency affects the application.

  • Plugin compatibility assessment
  • Drawing and editing integration
  • Geocoding service integration
  • Dependency and usage review

07 / 10

Quality, Accessibility, and Application Security

Review the map as part of the overall user interface. We test navigation and content behavior, provide supporting text or alternative workflows where needed, and examine how untrusted data is displayed in popups and other map elements.

  • Browser and device testing
  • Keyboard and accessibility review
  • Popup content handling
  • External service access review

08 / 10

Upgrades, Maintenance, and Developer Handover

Keep the map implementation understandable as the surrounding application evolves. We assess library and plugin changes, validate key workflows, and document layer sources, integration points, and build dependencies so that your developers can maintain the solution.

  • Library and plugin update assessment
  • Integration regression testing
  • Dependency and source documentation
  • Maintenance and handover support

Technical Support

Get help with missing map tiles, incorrect coordinates, layer errors, slow rendering, plugin conflicts, and application interaction problems. We examine the available evidence, coordinate investigation across the relevant components, and help your team identify corrective actions.

Support arrangements define the covered environment, service hours, communication channels, priorities, and escalation process. This gives your team a clear route for requesting assistance and following an issue through investigation, validation, and closure.

  • Incident investigation and troubleshooting
  • Configuration and integration assistance
  • Root-cause analysis within the agreed scope
  • Resolution guidance and incident documentation

Training and Knowledge Transfer

Build practical understanding of Leaflet development, geospatial inputs, layer integration, event handling, browser debugging, and dependency maintenance. We tailor sessions to the environment and the responsibilities of the people developing, administering, and supporting it.

Workshops can use your configuration, representative examples, and agreed operating scenarios. Documentation and runbook walkthroughs help your team apply the knowledge after the engagement.

  • Role-focused technical workshops
  • Configuration and workflow walkthroughs
  • Troubleshooting and maintenance guidance
  • Documentation and operational handover

A practical approach to Leaflet

We test the map using representative feature volumes and real user tasks. Reviews include the behavior of external tile and data services, the clarity of map interactions, and the information users need when a location cannot be displayed or a dependency is unavailable.

We agree the work and acceptance checks with your team, validate changes in a suitable environment, and document the outcome. Clear handover makes the configuration, operating procedures, and next actions easier to maintain after delivery.

Supported Versions and Support Hours

Supported versions

Versions below were confirmed against upstream release information on 15 October 2026. We reconfirm them at the start of each engagement.

  • Leaflet 1.9.4. Leaflet 2.0 is in alpha and is not supported for production use; we help plan the 1.9 to 2.0 migration.

Support hours

Standard support is delivered in business hours, Monday to Saturday, India Standard Time. Coverage hours, response targets and escalation steps for each severity are defined in the service agreement. Upstream response times are outside our control.
