One urban center in Karnataka set out to unify its key civic services- including traffic management, waste collection, and urban planning- under a single, intelligent platform. However, fragmented systems and siloed data flows slowed service delivery, limited real-time monitoring, and restricted the ability to make timely, data-driven decisions. A truly integrated approach was needed to scale its smart initiatives and deliver measurable impact for citizens.

Amnex Solution
Amnex implemented a city-wide System Integration solution as part of a Pan ICT initiative. The deployment brought together multiple services into one platform, including a Smarter Transit Management System equipped with 40+ Public Announcement Systems and 5+ Variable Message Sign (VMS) boards for public updates. Environmental monitoring was enhanced with 5 air quality sensors. In transport, 230+ GPS devices were installed in municipal vehicles for live tracking, and 104 PIS units plus 30 Electronic Ticketing Machines (ETM) improved passenger communication and fare collection. A dedicated City Mobile App empowered citizens to access live information and register complaints, fostering stronger public engagement.
