Senior Manager (Sales)- Cloud Domain

  • Government Sector Sales (Cloud Domain) and Procurement Processes: Mastery in navigating and managing sales within the government sector, including understanding of tendering, legal frameworks, and procurement processes.
  • Strategic Sales Planning and Execution: Proficiency in identifying, developing, and executing sales strategies targeted at the public sector (SAAS), ensuring alignment with company goals and client needs.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Skills in building and maintaining strong relationships with government officials, decision-makers, and influencers.
  • Financial Acumen: Knowledge of financial management as it relates to bidding, pricing strategies, and recovery processes, ensuring competitive proposals and financial health of the projects.
  • Marketing and Communication: Ability to collaborate with the marketing department to create impactful sales collateral and effectively communicate the value proposition of technology solutions.
  • Data Analysis and CRM Systems: Skills in utilizing CRM systems for data management, sales tracking, and generating reports to make strategic decisions.
  • High-Stakes Bidding Experience: Experience in leading and managing complex bidding processes, from proposal preparation to negotiation and compliance with stringent technical, legal, and financial requirements.
  • Government Relations and Networking: Special exposure to building and leveraging a network within the government sector, including ongoing engagement with officials, policy influencers, and industry associations.
  • Consultant and Partner Management: Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with consultants and external partners, including OEMs and legal advisors, to enhance project understanding, compliance, and execution.
  • Regulatory and Compliance Acumen: Deep understanding of the regulatory environment specific to public sector contracts, including compliance with procurement laws and ethical standards in business practices.
Opportunity Identification

  • Actively scout for new sales opportunities within the government sector, identifying potential clients across different levels, including end users, administrative officers, decision makers, and influencers.
  • Utilize in-depth market analysis and understanding of the public sector landscape to uncover opportunities

Customer Engagement

  • Maintain regular interaction with both existing and prospective clients to grasp their requirements fully.
  • Prepare and present detailed, customised presentations in collaboration with Business Unit Presales, showcasing our technology solutions and how they meet the client’s needs.

Internal Coordination

  • Obtain internal support from various Business Units to ensure a unified approach in addressing client needs.
  • Facilitate seamless communication and cooperation within the company to leverage collective expertise in fulfilling client objectives.

Documentation and Compliance

  • Have robust understanding of Detailed Project Reports (DPR), Scope of Work (SOW), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Pre-Qualification (PQ) documents.
  • Ensure all submissions accurately reflect the technical specifications, OEM criteria, legal, and payment terms, meeting or exceeding client expectations.

Bidding Process Support

  • Play a pivotal role in the bidding process, working closely with customers, consultants, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and respective internal stakeholders to develop competitive proposals.
  • Ensuring our proposals are compelling and achieve the highest evaluation scores.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Foster strong collaboration between geo sales, Business Units, PMO, Marketing, and other departments to enhance the sales function’s effectiveness.

CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in CRM data for generation of timely and consistent sales reports.
  • Analyse and utilise CRM data to make informed decisions, track sales progress, and identify areas for improvement.

Recovery and Compliance

  • Facilitate the monitoring and timely recovery of dues within the designated period.
  • Adhere to and ensure compliance with internal processes, such as CRM utilisation, RFP study, bid proposal review, and provide instances of compliance as required.
