5 Crore Farmers. One Digital Identity.
A New Chapter for Indian Agriculture
Admin – 09/05/2025

For decades, India’s farmers have stood at the core of the economy, often operating in the shadows of data, access, and recognition. Lacking unified records, millions of farmers missed out on timely benefits, faced hurdles in securing loans, and struggled to connect with modern agricultural tools. Today, however, a digital revolution is quietly transforming this landscape, precisely and at scale.
At Amnex, we’re proud to be part of this transformation. Through AgriStack DPI, we are creating a digital ecosystem that empowers farmers by providing structure, identity, and intelligence. More than 5 crore farmers across India have already received unique digital IDs, which link them directly to their land, financial services, and welfare schemes. These digital identities are more than just numbers on a screen—they represent a gateway to faster subsidies, transparent credit access, and better market linkages.
The foundation of this digital revolution lies in data—real, mapped, and actionable. Our teams have digitally surveyed over 10 crore farmland plots, turning physical terrain into comprehensive geospatial datasets. This massive effort spans 12 states and is expanding every month. The data gathered from each plot provides an accurate, real-time understanding of soil health, crop status, irrigation needs, and potential risks tied to seasonal changes.
But it’s not just about collecting data—it’s about enabling real change with it. By utilizing verified and dynamic insights, banks can now assess a farmer’s creditworthiness with greater accuracy. Governments can monitor scheme implementation and land use with precision, ensuring timely benefits reach the right people. Farmers, who have long been excluded from the digital loop, can now access real-time data-driven insights that allow them to make informed decisions. With technology, traditional knowledge, and agriculture finally meet, making farming smarter, more productive, and resilient.
From satellites that track weather patterns to sensors that monitor soil moisture, every piece of technology works in harmony to empower India’s farmers. These advancements are providing the tools needed for precision farming and driving a shift from instinctual to informed decisions.
This transformation isn’t just about technology. It’s about reimagining what agriculture can look like when every farmer is seen, every acre is counted, and every decision is backed by data. The digital journey for Indian farming has already begun, and we’re excited to be at the forefront of shaping this future.
We believe that a digital-first approach can unlock new possibilities for India’s farmers, paving the way for an agricultural revolution that is inclusive, sustainable, and resilient. As the journey continues, we remain committed to building the technology that will empower the next generation of farmers, fostering a future where every farmer is connected, every field is optimized, and every harvest is maximized.
